Thank you for an 2019 House Tour

The Ramsey Hill Association announces its biennial house tour, this year with the theme “Contemporary Living in the Homes of Saint Paul’s Gilded Past.” The popular self-guided tour will feature the history, architecture, and modern improvements of more than 18 stunning homes and public spaces in the Ramsey Hill neighborhood of Saint Paul.

Ramsey Hill, one of the oldest neighborhoods in the Twin Cities, is the focus of a recent 60 minute TPT documentary that explores its birth, growth, decline and reclamation over the course of more than 150 years. With a rich history, the neighborhood’s homes also embrace modern living. Watch the documentary and then explore Ramsey Hill homes in person on the house tour.

From 3 to 8pm on September 19, tour attendees will be invited into select homes of Ramsey Hill residents to see beautiful architectural details, learn about the history of previous residents and the neighborhood, and discover contemporary touches. Homes reflect a variety of architectural styles — Richardsonian Romanesque, QueenAnne, neo-Colonial, classic east coast rowhouses, true Victorian painted ladies and so many more.
