Dave Page
The preeminent scholar on F. Scott Fitzgerald's youth and early career in St. Paul, Dave Page has been featured on C-SPAN, MinnPost, PBS, the Pioneer Press and many other news outlets for his expertise on Fitzgerald and his ties to his hometown. He and photographer Jeff Krueger collaborated on F. Scott Fitzgerald in Minnesota; this coffee-table volume takes readers into the homes and places Scott frequented through Page’s well-researched commentary and Krueger’s sensitive color photographs (reproduced on glossy pages). The book combines insights into the writer’s early career with the rich architectural history of St. Paul that will be shared on this tour. Page is coauthor of F. Scott Fitzgerald in Minnesota: Toward the Summit, coeditor of The St. Paul Stories of F. Scott Fitzgerald (both of which were nominated for Minnesota Book Awards) and editor of The Thoughtbook of F. Scott Fitzgerald (Minnesota, 2013). Dave Page and fellow tour guide Joel Pace were founding members of Fitzgerald in St. Paul and served on its board until it became part of the Friends of the St. Paul Public Library.
