About the Book: Birdie Bowden, a tough-talking, no-nonsense superhero, has always put saving the city above all else. But after a viral mishap lands her in therapy in a quiet beach town, she’s forced to face something even scarier than supervillains—her own personal demons and an infuriatingly handsome cabin owner named Aiden. Will Birdie find her true self outside of her superhero persona, or is she doomed to push people away forever?
