The Summit Avenue Residential Preservation Association (SARPA) and the Ramsey Hill Association (RHA) invite you to an engaging and informative lecture on The History of The Saint Paul Seminary, presented by Professor Kristin Anderson. This event is part of the ongoing historic lecture series hosted by RHA and SARPA. Each past lecture has uncovered fascinating facts and insights—we look forward to more of the same!

WHO: Dr.  Anderson is a recently retired Professor of Art History at Augsburg University. She has taught courses on the history of Summit Avenue and previously served as chair of the Minnesota State Review Board for the National Register of Historic Places. She has also been president of the Minnesota chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians (MNSAH). Dr. Anderson earned her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota.

This event is free to attend, but registration is required so we can plan accordingly.

Space is limited to the first 70 registrants. If we reach capacity, a waitlist will be started.

If you register and later find you cannot attend, please cancel your registration by emailing HERE so we can offer your spot to someone on the waitlist.

Directions:

  • Please park in the Anderson Parking Facility located just off Cretin and Grand Avenue.
  • Walk northwest around the stadium construction to the St. Paul Seminary main building. You will enter through a courtyard.
  • Signs and seminarians will be present to help you navigate campus.
