Please join us for a FREE evening lecture and social hour presented jointly by Ramsey Hill Association (RHA) and Summit Avenue Residential Preservation Association (SARPA) on Thursday, October 17 and St. Clement's Episcopal Church. This will be an informative talk on the Religious Spaces in Ramsey Hill and Rondo presented by Professor Kristin Anderson.
About Dr. Anderson: Dr. Kristen Anderson is Professor Emerita of Art & Design at Augsburg University, specializing in art and architectural history. Her current research focuses on sports architecture, and she is co-authoring a book on Twin Cities sports facilities. A graduate of Oberlin College, Kristin holds advanced degrees in art history and church history, and a PhD in American Art and Architecture. She served as president of the Minnesota Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians and chaired the Minnesota State Review Board for National Register designations. Kristin is also a popular speaker and tour guide at venues like Target Field.
Note: Professor Anderson will not speak about the proposed Regional Trail on Summit. Her talk will be an opportunity for SARPA and RHA members and guests to learn more about the Avenue we all love, from an engaging and expert speaker!

Parking: parking on the north side of Portland Ave (the side the church is on) is restricted until 8:00 PM, so advise attendees to be sure to check the parking signs. The south side of Portland Ave and Milton St are not restricted.
Although not required to attend, we ask that you register for the event, so we can plan for the appropriate amount of attendees.
