Nothing could be more upsetting than what happened last Thursday to a beautiful, innocent 7 year-old child in our neighborhood.
WE MUST NOT TAKE THIS LIGHTLY.

THIS MUST NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.
On Thursday early evening around 6:45 PM a Kidnapping/Abduction of a 7 year girl occurred in the on the 300 block of Dayton Avenue. The child was found and the suspect was arrested and taken into custody and charged with kidnapping and first degree sexual assualt.
There will be a public meeting for the community this upcoming week to voice our concerns and ascertain what steps need to be taken to prevent an incident like this from happening again.
